Overview

/Welcome to Cookie Chain

A new memetic SVM built for fast culture, cheap execution, and community-run crypto infrastructure.

Cookie Chain is a fork of Gorbagana, which was a Solana fork. That makes Cookie Chain a fork of a fork, but the point is simple: we keep the SVM foundation and move in our own direction.

Cookie Chain is a new memetic SVM: fast, cheap, culture-native, and built for degens, builders, validators, experiments, apps, and on-chain communities that move quickly.

Today, Cookie Chain is operated by an expanding multi-validator set, uses COOK as its native asset, and centers community-run infrastructure over foundation control.

# What makes Cookie Chain different

  • Solana compatible: SPL tokens, programs, and tooling work out of the box.
  • Community operated: no foundation gate and no single operator.
  • Multi-sig bridge: COOK moves between Solana and Cookie Chain through an m-of-n community multi-sig, so no single key controls the vault.
  • Sub-second finality: around 1 second block times with Solana-style consensus.
  • Minimal fees: fees are paid in COOK and priced for builders and users.
  • Dirt-cheap program deploys: program deployment is inexpensive compared with Solana mainnet, making iteration and redeploys practical.
